Bulging liner

If your Lay-Z-Spa liner is experiencing bulging we recommend the following troubleshooting steps:

Step 1 - check if liner is overinflated:

Deflate the liner slightly to eliminate the bulging. Please be aware changes in the ambient temperature outside will cause the air inside the liner to expand or contract. On hot summer days we would suggest deflating the spa slightly. On colder winter days you may notice the liner looks a little soft and needs some more air.

Step 2 - check if your spa is in direct sunlight:

Spas are not designed to be left in direct sunlight. This can cause the liner, which is manufactured from vinyl, to expand and bulge. It can also cause the colour to fade and the liner may become brittle over a long period of time. This is not classed as a manufacturing defect. The spa should be set up in a shaded spot, or we would suggest purchasing a gazebo or similar item to cover the spa.

If the troubleshooting does not resolve the problem, please contact the Customer Care team below for further advise and so we may assist further.
