Is music a must?
Unlike a pool party, music isn’t essential for a hot tub party, but it is down to personal preference. Music can set the right mood and create a chilled-out ambience. Here at Lay-Z-Spa, we like something a bit more relaxing and chilled out whilst in the hot tub, but that doesn't stop you from creating your own hot tub party playlist.

Our wide range of hot tub accessories includes a handy drink holder perfect for Lay-Z-Spa hot tub parties. It simply slips over the edge of our inflatable hot tubs and is compatible with all our glasses. Each drink holder holds two drinks and has a snack tray in between. It can also be separated into individual holders too.

Be ready for any weather
As with any party, it’s important to plan for any weather. If you have a sheltered space like a gazebo, this is ideal, especially if it has a roof. If you don't, the portable protective Dome will help to protect your guests (and your Lay-Z-Spa) from the elements. In fact, the warm water will ensure that they’re relaxed and cosy no matter the season, so say goodbye to washout barbeques on summer days – and hello to all-weather hot tub catch-ups!
Manage chemicals well in advance
The last thing you want is to have to cancel your party plans because the water is unsuitable. This is why hot tub party preparation is key. At least a day before, test your water and make any necessary adjustments and change your filter. Then, if necessary, give your hot a clean so that it is all fresh and in top condition for your guests. You'll likely need to change your filter the next day and test the water again.
