Is there an E08 error code displaying on your Lay-Z-Spa pump? This means your Lay-Z-Spa pump is experiencing a high-temperature issue. This could be the water or the ambient temperature.
- Check the water temperature with a thermometer; it should not be higher than 40 celcius.
- Turn off the pump and disconnect it from the mains
- Allow the pump and water to cool down
- After 1-2 hours, try again
If your hot tub pump has a thermal reset button on the side
- Turn plug off wait 10 seconds and turn on
- On the PRCD (black box) press: Reset → Test → Reset
- Hold down the On / Off button on the pump for 3 seconds
- Press thermal reset button (Side of the pump)
- Press heater button - the pump should be working with no error codes
