How to setup a Lay-Z-Spa Rigid Wall Hot Tub

1. Position your Lay-Z-Spa Monte Carlo Rigid Wall Hot Tub on a solid flat surface, within close proximity to your power source and allow a clearance of 1 metre around the hot tub.

2. The Lay-Z-Spa Monte Carlo Rigid Wall Hot Tub pump and light plugs run on a UK standard 13amp/240V electrical supply. You should always use a grounded socket with RCD protection and never use an extension lead.

3. Once plugged in, but without power on, fill with fresh tap water using a clean hose pipe. Maximum water fill level is 2 to 3cm above the highest massage jet.

To do this:

• Remove the filter cartridge from the holder (if in place)
• Insert the garden hose directly into the filter cartridge compartment (or the suction inlet). This helps to prime the water system correctly.
• Do not simply place the hose at the bottom of the hot tub.

After water has been filled, activate the heater and treat the water before using your hot tub. Refer to our Hot Tub Chemicals Guide. 

When not in use, keep the cover on, but fully remove the cover when using the hot tub.
