Lay-Z-Spa ice bath safety advice
Safety is essential when starting ice bath therapy, especially for beginners. Here’s a list of basic safety tips to ensure a positive and controlled experience:

- Cold water can cause a shock to the system - we recommend not using the ice bath on your own and having a friend or partner supervise
- Ensure that children do not have any access to the ice bath unattended
- Completely remove the cover before using the ice bath
- Only use the ice bath for a maximum of 10-15 minutes
- If you have any of the following medical conditions, seek medical advice before using an ice bath: Cold Urticaria (hives), heart or lung condition, Raynaud's Syndrome or other health conditions.
- Do not submerge your head under the water
- Start cold plunges gradually and only spend 1-2 minutes in the water
- 10°C-15°C is an ideal temperature for cold plunges
