Lay-Z-Spa Rigid Wall Hot Tub E02 or E12 error code

If this error code appears on your Lay-Z-Spa Rigid Wall Hot Tub, especially when you first use it, it is likely due to trapped air.

  • Turn off the power supply and open the access panel (located on the same side as the power cord).
  • Firmly unscrew the pump’s suction inlet fittings (coupling) until the trapped air is bled out and water begins to flow steadily (this is "priming" the system).
  • As soon as the water starts flowing, retighten the fittings.

Top tip: Fill the hot tub up via the filter holder, not directly into the hot tub.
