Lay-Z-Spa WiFi app troubleshooting
Lay-Z-Spa app connection issue:

- Make sure you have a pump with WiFi connection (there will be a WiFi symbol on the control panel).
- Is the WiFi light flashing on the Lay-Z-Spa pump? If not, press and hold for 3 seconds.
- Make sure Bluetooth is enabled (turned on) on your device and that Bluetooth is enabled in the app's settings.
- Make sure WiFi / WLAN is enabled on your smartphone.
- Check that your router is on and working.
- Have you entered the correct Wifi password?
- Check that you are connecting to the 2.4Ghz network on your Wifi provider
- Make sure both your phone and Lay-Z-Spa pump are within range of the Wifi network.
- Keep your phone close to the Lay-Z-Spa pump.
- Try limiting the number of devices currently connected to the router / WiFi
- If the above do not work, turn off and unplug the pump, completely shut off the app for a couple of minutes, then start again.
Pump offline / Communication issue
- Is your Lay-Z-Spa pump powered on?
- Is your Lay-Z-Spa pump within range of your Wifi router?
- Is your Wifi router on and working correctly?
- Do you have a steady Wifi light on your Lay-Z-Spa pump?
- If you still have issues, restart your onboarding/connection to the pump from the beginning again
Lay-Z-Spa app use issue:
If an issue occurs while you have already been using the app for some time, it's worth checking that you have the most up-to-date version.

- Device goes offline
- 1. Cloud service issue or poor network connection - The device will re-establish when both are back to normal. Could be 24h.
- 2. Pairing mode has been activated - If WiFi light is flashing, turn the pump off, then on and press and hold the Wi-Fi button on the control panel for 3 seconds to reset it.
- 3. WiFi module failed to connect - If the WiFi light is not flashing, turn the pump off, then on and press and hold the Wi-Fi button on the control panel for 3 seconds to reset it.

App data didn't load - pull the screen down to refresh and reload.
- Error code E15 - WiFi connection failure. Turn the pump off, then on and press and hold the Wi-Fi button on the control panel for 3 seconds to reset it.
- Device not responding to commands - WiFi signal or mobile network signal is weak. Switch either to or from WiFi to mobile data. Power cycle the device by unplugging it, then holding the Wi-Fi button on the control panel for 3 seconds to reset before reconnecting
- Scheduling is not working - This could be an issue on our side
- 1. The issue may be resolved within 24-72 hours
- 2. If it persists, try reinstalling the app
- Many app notifications on the homescreen. These are known as "ghost notifications" and have no significance. They can be cleared or turned off following these steps:
- 1. To stop these on iOS, go to Settings > Notifications > Lay-Z-Spa App > toggle Badges off.
- 2. To stop these on Android, long-press the app icon > App Info > Notifications > toggle off
- 3. To clear these on iOS, force-quit the app and restart the phone/device.
- 4. To clear these on Android, Settings > Apps > Lay-Z-Spa App > Storage > Clear Cache
