About Scale & Stain Controller (1L)
The Clearwater® Scale & Stain Controller will prevent and help remove scale deposits caused by mineral precipitation which can build up rapidly on hot tub surfaces due to relatively high water temperatures.
It is essential to manage scale build‑up in hard water areas and this hot tub descaler is also perfect for the removal and control of metallic stains that can occur when metallic compounds start to oxidise due to prolonged exposure to water and air, or certain chemical components.
How do I use the Clearwater® Scale & Stain Controller in my hot tub?
- Shake the bottle well before use
- Measure the quantity of Scale & Stain Controller you need
- Gradually pour directly in the water
- Circulate the water using the AirJets for a few minutes
How much of the Clearwater® Scale & Stain Controller do I need in my hot tub?
For a hot tub of 1,000 litres, we recommend an initial dose of 25ml followed by a weekly 15ml dose.
As with all chemical products, instructions and warnings should be carefully followed.
